11月3日に予定されているアメリカ大統領選挙。
Democratのバイデン氏とRepublicanのトランプ氏の対決、だんだん行方が分からなくなってきましたね![ポーン]()
とは言え、CNNはDemocrat寄りですから、トランプ大統領に関しては90%ネガティブな内容ばかり![タラー]()
CNNニュースだけを参考に、それをそのまま伝える日本のメディアを見ていても、本当のアメリカの現状は分からないかもしれません。
せめて、FOXニュースと比べながら見ることをお勧めします。
どれくらい異なる見解を述べているか知るのは、かなり面白いですよ。
また、今一度、両政党の特徴を知れば、色々と見えて来るものもあるはず![うずまき]()
あくまで一般論ですので反論は不要ですが(笑)、アメリカでは一般的にはリッチ層からの支持が厚いのがRepublican、そしてlow-income世帯に支持されているのがDemocratとも言われています。
ちなみに、ビルゲイツ氏やウォーレンバフェット氏並みのSuper Rich層になると、Democratになるようですが(笑)
そんな理由もこの比較表(ブログ下部)を見れば納得です。
例えば、増税には賛成で、しかも「収入の高い人から多くの税金を徴収しよう！」というのがDemocrat。
ヘルスケアについても政府のサポートで皆が一律にサポートを受けられる、いわゆるオバマケアを支持し、更に移民の受け入れも大賛成なのがDemocratです。
ニューヨークやカリフォルニア州など、移民も多く、貧困層も多い州でDemocratが支持されているのは当然なわけですよね。
一方で、アメリカに住む私の親友のパートナーはAfrican Americanの血も混じっているMixed raceですが、医師であり、自身の会社も経営する実業家。
そんな彼は、絶大なトランプ支持者です。
オバマケアで散々な思いをし、うんざりしているよう。
そんなこんなで、何かあるとすぐに人種問題に結び付けで考える風潮には、私自身は違和感を感じています...
ちなみに、トランプ大統領の人間的資質は到底受け入れられないものですが、同時に、あのモラルも何も無くやりたい放題の中国にハッキリ物申せるのはトランプ大統領だけかも、とも。
Democratのバイデン氏が当選なんてしてしまったら、米国株も下がり散々なことになりそうで![ガーン]()
